My name is Carolyn Cordoni and I am a sophomore and attend Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, CA and play on the Varsity team as center forward. Freshman year I played on the JV Field Hockey team where we finished 1st in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League (SCVAL). We had a very strong season and ended with a 12-0-2 record. This year as a sophomore I made the varsity team and had 4 goals and 3 assists. This season we finished 4th in our league (SCVAL), #16th in the state of California, and #130 nationally. I currently play on NorCal Impact Club team on both the U16 and U19 teams. A few major highlights from the 2024 NorCal Impact season included UC Davis 7v7 U16 Champions, 2024 Cal Berkeley 6v6 U16 3rd place, and Stanford 6v6 U16 3rd place.
I played competitive soccer until freshman year before transitioning to field hockey full time. Playing soccer has provided a huge advantage in my field and spatial awareness within field hockey. I pride myself on three attributes in particular: dedication, coachability, and speed.
During my time as an athlete, I've consistently received praise for my strong work ethic, optimistic demeanor, and unwavering drive to enhance my performance.
It is a dream of mine to play in college and I always strive to be the best person, teammate and athlete that I can be. I am hopeful you will consider me when recruiting in the future.
